Help! The hinge on my HEX 2.0 FOLDING STOCK is sticking!

The Sig-Sauer hinge on our HEX 2.0 folder is an awesome design but is occasionally a little rough in execution.  The ledges that lock up together are cast faces, so they can have some rough spots that cause binding.  We do our best to break them in when we assemble them, but sometimes the user gets to do some break-in as well.  Please see this Instagram video (viewable on browsers too- you don't need to be in the app) for some tips.

Be aware that if you "snap" it closed when it's not mounted on a gun, it will cause it to lock up SUPER hard- this won't happen in normal use, because the weight of the gun keeps the clamp part from moving quickly (inertia is a real thing).  So if you're like the rest of us, just opened the box, were playing with the hinge, and now it's jammed like you can't believe, DON'T stress- it'll be totally fine when it's actually mounted on your gun.

To unlock the hinge during normal use, orient the gun grip down, optics up, and put your thumb on the top of the stock adapter (pic rail) and your remaining four fingers wrapped under the stock.  lift up with your hand and push down with your thumb, then rotate the stock to the folded configuration.

We check each hinge to make sure that it's OK, but if after reading this you're still totally stuck, please give us a ring and we'll get you going one way or another.
