ODS PH-2
Occam Defense SolutionsTHE PH-2 IS BACK IN STOCK!
NEW! NOW YOU CAN SELECT FRONT OR REAR ONLY TO BETTER FIT YOUR NEEDS (NO TOOL OR TIN INCLUDED)!
Due to lack of availability of our favorite iron sights, we've decided to come out with our own so we can ensure a good source.
The ODS PH-2 is inspired by the variable diopter sights common on AR style rifles.
The front sight post on the PH-2s is stock AR-15, enabling the use of aftermarket tritium sights. We'll be selling a couple of different sight post heights for those wishing to zero at extreme distances (either extremely close or far), but the default height should work fine for ODS-1775 users desiring to zero between 50 and 200 meters.
The rear peep has windage adjustment and 3 diopters (aperture sizes) plus a battle notch that range from CQB to 100 meters and beyond.
A hidden feature of peep sights is that the rear aperture doubles as a pinhole camera. This has the effect of magnifying and focusing objects at distance as if you were using a magnifier. This is the same effect that is used by folks with poor vision when they make a tiny hole in their fist to see through.
The rear sight aperture is 0.655" from the top of the pic rail.
The peeps are 1913 / NATO compatible. They cowitness at 50% with an Aimpoint Micro (or clone) on an ARMS #31 mount. an MRO on a Midwest Industries cantilever mount will cowitness lower 1/3 with the PH-1.
The ODS PH-2s are mainly machined by OCCAM DEFENSE in North Idaho. The body is 6061 Aluminum with a true Mil-Spec 1913 blasted and hardcoat anodization. The steel parts will be either nitrided or parkerized. All parts are made in 'Merica, making this a 100% US made product!

Ph 2
Great sights

Outstanding sights!
I absolutely love these sights. They are low profile yet the perfect height to easily acquire your target. I had planned to use them as backup sights but now am reconsidering using them as my primary sights. Easy to install and easy to adjust. Plus they have killer looks. I’ll probably be ordering a second soon!

PH-2 SIGHTS
Although the wait for these was long, it was worth it. These sights have great aesthetic appeal and a nice solid feel to them.Finish is excellent.Have mounted them on a CZ Scorpion carbine and they look tough.Looking forward to getting to range to sight it in.The canister they came in was also a step above. Impressed so far and pleased with this purchase.

PH-2 sights
These sights are beautifully made. Easy to adjust with the supplied tool. Definitely worth the wait.

Exceeded my high expectations
In a word: "over-engineered." In the best way possible. Beautiful machining and attention to detail. I've never seen index pins on a pic rail attachment before. I imagine they aren't "needed," but the fact that they are there shows the attention to detail that has gone into these sights. Even the included front sight tool is overbuilt. I have high quality BUIS on many firearms and this is among the most robust and thoughtful pair I have seen. Purchased for my IWI Galil Ace 2 and a spare set for my next low bore axis need. I have been intrigued by ODS since learning about them on 1911 Syndicate and am looking forward to sampling more wares.

ODS PH-2 sights
Bought a set for my IWI Galil Ace Gen II ("optics ready"). Really bummed that IWI discontinued the integral sights with the Gen 2. I was blown away when I received my ODS sights, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are what "made in the USA" is all about. Just ordered another set for my Sharp Bros. build.

Galil Ace Gen2 + ODS PH-2 = Chef's Kiss
After a week with these sights, I am so happy I did the wait. They are solid. They are smooth. They look like they were meant for my Galil. The finish and form is darn near the same. At first, I had the rear sight as far back as a Galil will allow. Big no-no for me. The apertures were too blurred out to be of any use. After some thought I put the rear sight over the mag well. That did the trick. Beautiful sight picture with all apertures. Groovy. Using an Aimpoint H2 on a Scalarworks Leap 1.57" mount directly in front of the rear sight allows for a good sight picture through the body of the optic mount. The sight picture almost made me wonder if these two companies worked together to bring about this wonderful synergy. Overall, I am very impressed with the PH-2 sights. The wait was worth it. The product pictures need to be updated to show off the sweet logos.

Awesome
This is my second set of sights from occam. The first set was the original version which were great, but these are even better. I have them for my Galil aces since gen 2 doesn’t come with them. I’m planning on getting another set for my Merc’d draco soon
